I love making this salsa. My family asks for it all the time. It's really
delicious and incredibly easy. I don't follow an exact recipe, but it
turns out right every time. You can't get it wrong.I like my salsa on
the hotter side, so adjust the heat with more or less jalapenos.
in a blender, add:
2 -14.5 oz. cans diced/peeled tomatoes
1 medium white onion diced
1 bunch cilantro leaves (two big handfuls)
1 - 4 oz. can diced jalapenos, drained (use less for milder salsa)
1 clove garlic chopped
1 T sugar
salt and pepper
blend it just until everything is combined
chill for an hour and serve
store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
there will be plenty to share with friends.
